As Satinder Sartaj walked in the Arena he opened the show with "The Ardas" ( a prayer in Sikhism seeking diving grace for all). Dressed up in traditional attire, he made us feel home.
His music talks about love, family, hope, trauma and every human emotion and when he starts to perform it feels nothing poetry.
The atmosphere throughout the entire night was magical. Everybody could feel every lyric he was singing to it some people were dancing to and some had drop of tears.
I have grown up listening to him speak about love and family and to me witnessing that in real life was everything I needed to heal parts of me :)
